The management of Hotel Fairmount in San Francisco, USA got a whiff of SRK’s superstardom when fans from literally all over the States started pouring in to catch a glimpse of the actor. They came up with a master plan to cash in on their guest Shah Rukh Khan’s star power.
Table for all
A source from the US reveals, “Shah Rukh is currently in San Francisco shooting for the last leg of Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan. And he has agreed to use his spare time for a good cause. SRK fans can book a table at the restaurant for one night when the actor will mingle with the patrons.”
Prices to pay
The source further adds, “If they wish to take a picture with their favourite star, they will have to shell out $250 (approximately Rs 12,000) and if they wish to have dinner on the same table as the superstar, there is a bigger price tag. The dinner is scheduled for some time next week when SRK will get a night early off work.”

That is not okay. He never behaved like the Hollywoodactors and -actresses (who takes money for pictures). That was the thing that made him so famos and loved.

Although I am sad but it isn’t SRK’s fault, it’s the Mehta Entertainment’s fault…they are too greedy and hungry for money! SRK is just a money machine for them.
I wish SRK came to my house to celebrate my birthday but…
But he will also go to the South Asian Festival on Aug 15 in Chicago and 16 in Houston…but if I am not able to see him when he is just a few miles away from me, how can I even dream to see him thousands of miles away??

Hey, guys! I’m sure it’s not our SRK who demands 250 dollars. May be he even doesn’t know. Or may be he will spend these money for some good purposes.
Will live and will see

this is ridiculous, I went there ( not for a glimpse), but I was told by the management, that to see him come to his window, just for a glimpse( so michael Jackson), with his son, they were charging 200$. It is so amazing, such a low act. SRK I thought you were beyond that.

I was there for the APPNA convention, which was held at downtown marriott.
I went to the hotel where he was staying, and there, they were asking for 200-250$ for a picture of him. Could not imagine he would stoop so low.
