Loading ...Shah Rukh Khan is no stranger to being in the limelight, but it seems that sometimes he is talked about for all the wrong reasons. Rumors have been circulating that in a recent magazine interview, SRK compared the Prophet Mohammad to negative figures in history, such as Hitler. Obviously, these comments have offended many people in the Muslim community.
According to the rumors, the Mumbai Aman Committee has issued a complaint against Shahrukh Khan to the Bandra Police Station. They claim that SRK has offended the attitudes of their community and a clarification from the actor is in order.
According to reports, the interview, which was printed in “Time’n Style Luxury” magazine, reads as follows:
“According to you who is the most impressive figure in history?
‘There are lots of them, some negative ones like Hitler, then Napoleon, Winston Churchill and if I can call it history, then Prophet Mohammed and from recent time - Nelson Mandela. And there are the nice ones like Gandhiji and Mother Teresa.’”
However, in an attempt to cover their tracks, the magazine published a clarification of the interview in a tabloid. The Magazine claims that the answer to the question should have appeared in the following way:
”There are lots of them, some negative ones like Hitler. Then Napoleon, Winston Churchill were impressive. If I can call it history, then most impressive positive figure is Prophet Mohammed. And from recent time - there are nice ones like Nelson Mandela, Gandhiji and Mother Teresa”.

SRK, is not only the best actor, but as a person he is the best as well. And he always speaks about islam, you will hardly hear this from Salman or Amir, the words like, inshaallah…..or Allah…….Look SRK ’s interview is absolutely different on T V, and when they published, don’t know delebrately or by mistake they did it wrong, The real muslim won’t start on any unneccessary thing, thats not islam. plus they just started on him, for BILLU film as well, its not understandable, you are the one community who take objection on this word, then it means, these ppl don’t know anything, because in that song it wasn’t that AT ALL, ….Then you know when the world says anything about …..then they don’t like it, FIRST TRY TO UNDERSTAND, BEING A MUSLIM WHO CAN UNDERSTAND MORE,JUST WATCH HIS VIDEO, WHAT HE SAYS AND WHAT IS PRINTED, JUST DON’T JUMP ON EVERYTHING, AND BY DOING THIS DON’T MISINTERPRET THE ISLAM TO OTHERS, GIVE THE THING THE CHANCE OF DOUBT AS WELL, SO, NO ONE SHOULD GET HURT, OTHERWISE WE ARE MAKING PPL LAUGH AT US….AND BELIEVE ME FRIENDS NOT EVERY MUSLIM IS LIKE THAT. …Now I don’t know how they are going to behave, and it seems they have got plenty of leisure time, I don’t know how they make time, in this hard earning time…..Please think before you all start on something.

C’mon SRK fans. I’m disappointed that some of you are even believing that he categorized Prophet Muhammad among the negative characters. The extremely stupid sentence structure of the magazine seems to indicate that SRK not only put Prophet Muhammad in the same category as Hitler, but he also put Churchill and Mandela in that class. The clarification seems better. Moreover, SRK himself has corrected the magazine. To me, that’s enough.

i think srk was mis-quoted and he should register his protest against the journalist and against the magazine.
though, Muhammad (SAW) was the messenger of Allah and he can not be compared with any other person live or dead, but the message from srk is loud and clear just like any other Muslim or like a good human being he admires the image of Prophet and wants affiliate with the preachings of Islam.

I think Shahrukh made the statement purely from a historical (and not religious) point of view, as an answer to the question “According to you who is the most impressive figure in history?”. Any notion that he put the Holy Prophet spiritually at par with other historical figures is complete bogus (he even said “if I can call it history” because the Holy Prophet was above that).
May be SRK isn’t having the best of times recently (Paanchvi….., Salman, Aamir, Billu, surgery, KKR and now this one). InshAllah everything will be fine very soon. But my request to him would be to make more careful choices, and particularly avoid such cheap trouble-making magazines.

i believe , its question of making money and popularity. If police will register complaint for every non sense, so that they are also in limelight. Lets do some justice to where we live.
And to Strict muslims and strict hindus. . what is in god. it is faith and trust.. be it allah or easwhar .. and we make it to a point that religion comes in front of anything else..
lets live the life to its holiest sense and wholesum joy to mother earth.

My suprise since the begining of this issue is that the people that took Shahrukh to Police station for Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him and his family) forgot entirely that Shahrukh is also a follower of Holy Prophet both by birth, by religion and even by way of life. Some people are living in the city but still local in behaviour. These are the muslims we should not be refer to as followers of Prophet Mohammed because Prophet is not only identified with Islam alone, but good character, passion, love and peace and these attributes made him to be a good leader.Shahrukh was born by complete muslim family and you can never deny him his right of been a muslim. You are not in position to make any judgement on him when it comes to Prophet Mohammed (Peace of Almighty Allah continue to be upon him) because he belongs to Prophet and Prophet belongs to him as a muslim and there is nothing you can do about that. You people should stop disgracing Islam.

well’honestly speakind i dont that srk can go that far in trangressing the limits of islam…although he has done few things which are not approve by islam like marryin a hindu….but Allah knows it all….He is the one to punish or reward His followers and we are no one to judge our fellow beings because we ourselves are not that perfect….yes,i agree that one who makes insulting or disgracing commetns about Allah,Islam or Prophet(pbuh) should be punished according to the islamic law ONLY IF the case is clear…and we being full of flaws have no such authority of judging others or punishishing others even when the case is not clear itself…..so be a MUSLIM and first try to follow islam completely yourself and than expect something from people aroun you…thankyou!
