Actor Shah Rukh Khan said Friday he was worried for the safety of his wife and two children after his house Mannat was attacked by unknown people who had apparently misinterpreted the lyrics of a song in just-released “Billu” and reacted.
“I got scared. I got worried about my children and wife, but they are fine. I don’t think there is any place safer than my home. I’m in London for a check up. I will be back home the day after tomorrow,” Shah Rukh told a TV channel over phone from London.
Clarifying the confusion about the lyrics, the actor said: “They thought we are referring to the Prophet in the song. But it has been sorted out. They have seen the film and now its clear to them that the lyrics weren’t referring to the Prophet.”
A burning kerosene bottle had been thrown in the premises of his sea facing house Mannat early in the morning.
According to an officer of Bandra Police station, two men came to Shah Rukh’s bungalow, at Bandra Bandstand around 2.30 a.m. They lit a bottle full of kerosene and flung it over the gates before fleeing. The security guards were caught unawares, the police said. The police said a case was registered and they are searching for the culprits.
There was no damage to property as the flaming missile landed in the garden.

Hi guys, just saw Billu, it is a good film if not great.
a simple,sweet film with good performances from irfan,lara n supported by om puri,rajpal yadav,asrani etc
but our BAADSHAH is looking rocking in the movie, hats off to him for allowing the whole story to balance on irfans shoulders.
but shahrukh is outstanding in the last scene where he tells about his child hood friend billu.
so dont wait plz go n see the sweet, clean family entertainer.
the film will score slowly with mouth publicity.a sure shot hit.

Nice movie,low ratings are been given by shahrukh haters,enemies. its true tat great success brings lot of enemies.so shahrukh fans just chill,ignore the low ratings and watch the movie,sweet,simple family entertainer.

I cannot watch Billu…my mother said she will not go to the theater…the 13th is living upto its reputation
I have been crying soooo badly, I waited for this movie for about a year now and we have been planning it since the time the release date was announced.
My mother doesn’t want to watch it because it’s 2 hours and 18 minutes and she thinks it will turn out to be like Paheli…undeveloped.

I’m so sorry Rumana. Tell your mother about the good reviews from critics. I also haven’t watched the movie. Will definitely go as soon as it releases in Sri Lanka.

Despite every criticism… all I know, is that watching “Billu” today is the most precious V-day gift ever,,, I’m overwhelmed and ecstatic…have waited for this for so long….Its so sweet and sad and sweet….I’ve never before walked out after watching a film, unable to control my tears…
Please tell your Mom that the 2 hours 18 minutes are absolutely worth it…
Today…(I will tell my grandchildren…someday) is a moment that I’ve forever waited for…and now I can leave this world peacefully

After shedding lots of tears, we finally watched Billu! But my family didn’t like it that much but I loved it. It was very funny and a nice movie. but I will say that it is not that good like Rab Ne. But I know why because SRK wasn’t in it FULLY!!
The sad part is, I was so tired after crying, I cried again at the end of the movie. My eyes are sore!
