The actor, looking dapper in a black suit was present at the Gala event with wife Gauri Khan and good friend Karan Johar. wow cant believe that Gauri is wearing a
Saree for once LOL. SRK was fab @ the
awards ceremony. It’s great to see a collaboration
of cultures and people. Also, I loved the bit when Anil Kapoor
got up and screamed for joy when Danny Boyle went up on stage to collect his award for Best Director. Truly, a remarkable moment for all Indians and also, not forget Rahman. India has a helluva lot of talent which cannot go un-noticed.
We’ve got people like Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Shabana Azmi, Kajol, Naserrudin Shah, Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar and so many more that are well worthy of winning Golden Globe Awards. But, nonetheless, well done to those who won on the night and made us all proud.

I liked the fact that he took his wife and Karan to the GG a lot, look at Anil Kapoor, he could have taken his wife or Sonam to GG but he came alone with the team of the weirdly named Slumdog Millionaire. SRK was like the luck factor for SM at the GG
And I swear, I felt SRK was so close to me.

Calling Aamir Khan names does not justify anything. Besides, there is no rivalry between SRK or Aamir. The media need to write stories in order to sell their magazines!. Well, they certainly are doing a good job of stirring trouble where it doesn’t exist. Aamir was promoting his film and hence after the success of ‘Rab Ne’ he may have been feeling threatened. But, Ghajni has done better than ‘Rab Ne’ and it is a fact. Though, that does not mean that SRK or his films are any less. Both deserve their positions respectively and I think they should both be equally proud as both thier films help to pull the film industry out of a down slump due to recession and also the aftermath of 26/11. These films got people going back to the theatres and help to bring back some kind of normalcy into people’s lives. Both actors are succesful and well deserving. In fact, I am very disappointed that ‘Taare Zameen Par’ has been knocked out of the running for an Oscar nomination. It’s so sad because it’s a ground breaking film for Indian cinema and little Darsheel does deserve an Oscar for his performance!. TZP is brilliant because it brings awareness to a subject that was much needed within Indian society. Hats off to Aamir for handling the film so tenderly. A beautiful story, told quite simply, beautifully.
I know probably this sounds as though I am some Aamir fan, well, I have grown up watching him and am very fond of his work. But, appreciation should be given when due, and I applaud Aamir for making TZP.
I love SRK too and think he is absolutely magnificent. He too has starred in some fantastic cinema and has produced some outstanding work.
My point is simply this, Indian Cinema would not be the same without these two actors being a part of it. They stand for the reason that Indian Cinema is progresing so rapidly because even at their age they are delivering and making profound cinema. So, well done to both Khans and hope that they continue to make endearing cinema!!! I love them… but, my heart belongs to SRK!!!!

Bravo!!! Amir can go ahead and name his wife Shahrukh, nobody care!!! Shahrukh will continue to rule the bollywood whether they like it or not. What I don’t like about Amir is the idea of saying bad things about someone who always praise you and always talk good things about you. Shahrukh may say anything he likes about himself but didn’t say bad about you, why cann’t he control his envy.

Vee! I completely agree with you.

C’mon you guys, don’t you think we should stop fighting over who’s better? I have to admit it is getting tiresome for us to go through all these SRK vs. Aamir comments on a daily basis. No matter what the topic is, the conversation always seems to veer in that direction. It’s a sincere request from the Vluv team. Let’s focus on SRK & his work, shall we?
    Peace! :)
