The magazine says Shah Rukh, who is No. 41 on the list, is the ‘King of Bollywood’.
“It’s not just that his (Khan’s) romantic flicks make gazillions—it’s where those gazillions come from. Khan is huge in the Muslim world, even in Pakistan and Afghanistan, where the mullahs ban his films. Their main appeal is certainly the song-and-dance numbers, but Khan makes devoutly secular films where love trounces bigotry,” the magazine says.

My friend Sameer introduced me to SRK about 6 years ago. I have been watching his films since then. I have watched all of his films and I watched Rab Ne about 7 times already. What a touching story. I was introduced in a similar way. My friend from the West Indies showed me a movie of his once and I just fell in love with him right away. He has the best personality I have ever seen. I was so touched by his performance that I have kept track of every news involving him. Oh my gosh this is great news. Congrats to SRK!! He deserves to be on that list but, he is not only known for his films but, also for the brands he endorses. SRK is associated with some of the best brands such as, Nokia, compaq, Tag Heur, Pepsi, etc. Recently, he bought a cricket club ‘Kolkota Knight Riders;, then he also did his TV shows such as ‘KBC’ and ‘Kya Aap Paachvi Panch se Tez Hai? and he is also invloved in Production under his own banner, ‘Red Chillies Entertainment and his most recent venture in property development in Dubai where he has invested in SRK Boulevard. So, these factors also contribute to SRK’s success. Not only is he a fantastic actor but, he is also an intelligent entrepeneur and smart human being which sets him apart from everybody else. He has used his star status to divulge in other areas and that is quite clever and I guess that is why he is the master of all strokes. Good going SRK and I hope you achieve continued success because you truly deserve it.
I also want to say how lovely it is to see that people of all cultures and backgrounds are recognising SRK and appreciating his work and its only restricted to the Indian Sub-Continent.
